Chris Floyd is a part-time artist and designer, working sporadically in illustration, wood-carving, painting, and digital design. For a day job he works for the Army Corps of Engineers as an environmental scientist, stuffing mud into jars and counting ducks.
Chris is a long-time member of the Alaska Flute Circle. In addition to Native flute, he has played clarinet, tuba, bagpipes, tinwhistle, and concertina at various times, and is currently learning fiddle and guitar. He lives in Anchorage, Alaska, with his wife, Sonya, and several cats.
